    If you want the ambient light to be controlled by the screen host, , your headunit should be original 280 D or 275C ,or it will not support multi color.But if your host is not original ,you can  controll the ambient lights via steering wheel MFS button ,rearview mirror switch ,mobile phone Wechat APP,and the color can be 64 color .
